I was a member(Crew Chief) of the 49th fis in Rome ,NY (81-84)The last time I saw 59-0069 better known as the "Love Machine" her right wing was off, no engine, the aircraft had been horribly "Canned" I had heard it was "written off" so that "IS"? "69" in the photo? Thanks M. Moffitt

This F-106A is displayed in Montana Air National Guard markings as 57-2492 which was itself converted to a QF-106 drone and shot down by AIM-120 on August 20,1997.
