Mrs G.A.M Steel was a joint owner of G-AGTT with a Mr. Gaylor (Garage owner) She was my mother, no longer with us. I'm amazed the Auster is still!! Interestingly she learned to fly at White Waltham (where our plane was based, in the fabulous company of Doug Bianci- who made the replica Demoiselle for "Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines") Taught by no less than the brilliant JOAN HUGHES..My mother did work for the West London Aero Club for several years (I used to help her, I think!? in my schhool holidays and cadge flights to many destinations!) It would be good to compare notes with the present owner.....Hope to hear....All best Roger Steel..Worthing.. West Sussex.........
