Jan 2012. I am the owner of G-AWEI and live in Salisbury UK. G-AWEI is currently undergoing a thorough bottom up restoration. Like all things it is taking longer than planned - but is fun. After being badly treated at the end of its time and left unattended for close on 15 years it begins to come alive again. Fuselage is completely cleaned, repaired and ready to start the 'refitting' exercise - due to commence mid this year. Instrument fit to be changed - updated but pretty much classical. 0-200 ready to fit, more or less. Wing repairs 90% complete and should be ready to cover by beginning of Feb 2012. All that said, still 18 months off completion, but we shall get there! Peter Gange
