I leased this aircraft for 6 weeks in 2000 while hour building for my CPL. I flew it from Bristol to Shannon and buzzed around the Republic eeking out as many hours as possible. One day an aer lingus captain hailed me on the RT and asked"G-BCGJ are a cherokee 140" I said yes and he said " I learned to fly iN her 25 years ago in Oxford. I was pleased to tell him that she was still in tip-top condition and not look her ing her age at all. It was with great regret that i brought back to her owners in Bristol.
