G-BGMP was reputedly formerly a floatplane before arrival in the U.K. I did most of the cross country flights in her while working for my PPL in the early 1980's. At the time it was owned by Norvic Racing Engines at Little Staughton, Beds and rented out at weekends to the Kestrel Flying Club at Cranfield. At this time it carried a brown and white paint scheme.
