Originally built Bu 46633 for the US Navy. Retired by Navy in May 1956 and stored at Litchfield Park. To civilian registry in 1956 as N10023 and sold to Miron and Freres of Cartierville, Quebec as CF-MIR and converted to Super Catalina configuration. Registered N608FF, then reverted to C-FMIR. Used for survey work in Southern Africa until 1984 when it was bought by Plane Sailing in the UKand registered G-BLSC Dec 17, 1984. Flown at airshows painted in RAF colors as JV928Y and later in RCAF colors as 9754/P. Re-registered as VR-BPS and later as VP-BPS in Bermuda. Suffered landing accident on Southampton Water UK in 1998. Owned by Super Catalina Restoration for rebuilding it to flying condition at Lee-on-Solent airfield in Hampshire. Scrapped at Weston Airport, Dublin, Eire June 27th 2012.
