WJ288 was registered as G-SALY (named after his wife, Sally) by Patrick Luscombe of the British Air Reserve, the owner prior to Duxford.

Last serving with the RNAS at Lossiemouth, 288 ended up in 1988 with Doug Arnold's Warbirds at Duxford where she was restored to airworthyness and registered as G-SALY. Shipped to Chino in 1991 and registered with the FAA as N15S, she now flies under her original RNAS reg.
