This former Royal Danish Air Force TF-35 Draken, operated by Flight Test Dynamics under contract to the US Navy, crashed on June 26, 1998 while making an emergency landing at Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia. It was substantially damaged as it impacted the ground short of the runway after the pilot successfully ejected from the aircraft on final approach.
