Worked on this airplane a lot plus got to fly it some too in the 1990's. We installed the IO-550 conversion & scimitar prop and it was a blast to fly after that. Climbed like a homesick angel (has a STOL kit too.) Back then it had a radar pod under the right wing too. The "GS" in the registration was from the owner at the time, George "Mackay" Salley, and the airplane was based at Chapel Hill, NC.
