Dec. 15, 2005. This aircraft is being returned to its original FAA registration of N3042M from XB-IJU as it was working in Mexico for a couple of years and is now relocated at SZP.
The aircraft has a Lycoming O-360 180 Hp engine installed under Field Approval, lengthened wings with square tips and carries 61 gallons of fuel. It is normally operated WITHOUT the engine cowling for greater cooling. Usage such as banner towing requires high power and the extra cooling. See XB-IJU for aircraft pictures in that registration configuration.
