Interesting to find this aircraft on the internet. It is the plane I flew around the world in 1981, called "The Spirit of Winnie Mae." It was the 50th Anniversary Commemorative flight of Wiley Post's 1931 RTW flight. Jerry Kuzia, FAA Inspector, was the co-pilot from Manchester, NH to Frankfurt, Germany. From there, Emmett Fry, NASA engineer, took over as co-pilot since Jerry ran out of vacation time. Nearly 30 years ago, but what an experience. Ken Wiggins and Joe Cunningham were two of the main figures behind the scene who helped bring it to fruition. Without them it would not have been possible.
