My father was the original pilot of this A/C when it was picked up new from the factory in Wichita, KS. He flew it for the next 28 years and other than myself and one other pilot, no one else ever touched the controls of "Brown Bird" as he called her.
He is now 80 years old and I am building a 27% scale RC model of the plane and was very happy to find these photo's of her still in her original clothing.
