I flew this gulfstream in the late 1990s early 2000s for Avior technologies out of Marietta ga. , great planes and a blast to fly

I first saw 41av back in 1973. It was back then 711mm and was the personal jet for Mr. Malcolm McLain. He was the creator of Sea-Land container shipping. It was a regular visitor to the airport at Fairhope Alabama. Mr. McLains brother
J.K. McLain owned the Grand Hotel on point clear. I can still vividly remember watching it taxi out and hear those Speys spool up (without hush kits!!) and watch it thunder down the runway. It was a pure pleasure and one i cherish. It was always a joy to go aboard and talk with the pilots, and Mr. McLain himself. It spurred a lifelong love of Gulfstreams and a desire to one day fly on one.
