This plane crashed on December 8, 2005. Skidded off the runway at MDW while trying to land in heavy snow. The plane hit a car and killed a 6 year old kid. A one year old plane gone too...

Aww - not completely gone. Looks like it could be repaired. Not gonna just write off several millions of dollars in Jet - just for nose gear and engine replacement. Planes ARE insured you know. What sorrow for the little boy killed however, right at Christmas time. Very sad. Having several SW Airlines Employees as friends, I know they are all horrified at the families loss.
