In the '60s-early 70s, N61553 was held by a Stearman PT-17. It was owned by Spectrum Air (maybe registered to Holiday Magic or even the America Air Museum). It was based at Gnoss Field, Novato, California. As an instructor/charter pilot, I spent many enjoyable hours flying students and guest around the area...lots of loops, rolls and spins.
