This aircraft was built as C-47A 42-92606 and delivered to the USAAF 1/31/44, then diverted as Lend-Lease to RAF as Dakota Mk.III serial KG395. Arrived in UK in February 1944. Eventually transferred to RCAF No. 437 Sqdn in September. Transferred to Canadian government 6/16/46. Based in Winnipeg by 1952. In 1970 the aircraft was allocated RCAF serial 12919. In 1977 the registration C-GZCR was reserved but not taken up, and the aircraft went to Basler Flight Services in Oshkosh, WI as N89BF. In October 1987 the aircraft was registered N99FS operating out of Panama City, FL.
