The first owner in Belgium was André Delruelle who was born on 18th of March 1902 in Trooz, Belgium. He spent first World War in Folkestone and tried to join UK in 1940 after Belgium's capitulation. He arrived in Dunkerk when last British ship was about to leave and when he tried to board, he was asked whether he could pilot a plane, he said no and was denied boarding. He decided to learn as soon as he could and loved it and bought that wonderful Bellanca.
