This aircraft was built as C-47A 43-30732 and delivered to USAAF on 10/5/43, and assigned to Oran, Algeria on 11/20/43. On 2/20/44 it was transferred to the U.S. 9th A.F., and then returned to the USA on 9/23/45. One month later it was with the Reconstruction Finance Corp and subsequently went to Canadair Ltd in Montreal. On 9/12/46 it was sold as LN-IAF to Det Norske Luftfartselskap AS and based in Norway. It was then transferred to the Scandinavian Airlines System on 8/1/48. The plane was leased to Linjeflyg of Sweden as SE-CFP on 8/13/57, then on 6/29/60 it was sold to the Royal Swedish Air Force as 79006 and base with F7 WIng. In 1978 it was with the 13th Wing coded “76.” The plane was then re-registered as SE-CFP on 6/26/84 with Stiftelsen Flygande Veteraner.
