VH-DZI is a 1965 c177. I has a Lyc. O320E2D with a fixed pitch prop. It arrived in Australia in a crate in Sydney was assembled and flown on hire for some years. It had a number of owners and prior to the current owners spent approx. 3 years in Hervey Bay Aus. It was a very reliable and economical (Mogas approved) aircraft and cruised at around 90kts. Its only problem was that the 150 hp engine allowed for only minimal performance especially in hot weatherf.It had been very well cared for and always hangared.
