As of 21/9/11 XV290 is no more she had finally succumbed to the scrapman's axe. Last Hercules at RAF Lyneham has gone ending an era.

As of 1/9/11 XV290 is the last remaining Hercules remaining at RAF Lyneham in current state of dismantling and final scrapping.
