This Harrier GR.3 was retired from 3 Squadron at RAF Gutersloh in 1988 and preserved there, then RAF Laarbruch before moving to RAF Cottesmore as gate guardian with RAF Maintenance serial 8975M. It remained there until January 23, 2012 and is now on display at the Swanwick Air Traffic Control Centre in Hampshire.
