This Lear was operated by the Messina Transvaal Development [MTD] Co. as the company aircraft from around 1974 to about 1980-something. The pilots were Tony Potgieter and Richard Duff. The aircraft was hangared at the Messina aerodrome, but if memory serves me correctly, was based in Jo'burg. I hope I get this right, but Tony P's best time to JHB from Messina was 33 minutes! That is p...ing off!!!! Corrections welcome.
