This is one of the fragments, nearly all that remains of what was once N334AA; it is on display at the Intrepid Air-Sea-Space Museum in New York City. This was the first of the four aircraft that terrorists crashed on that terrible day, Sept. 11, 2001.

N334AA - The nose section of this American Airlines DC-7 has been preserved at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. It is interesting to note that this aircraft bore the same registration as the airlines's 767 that was hijacked and destroyed on September 11, 2001. - by Daniel L. Berek
