1944 Douglas DC-3C as USAF AC-47D gunship 'SPOOKY', While 'Spooky' was the collective call sign, our troops in Vietnam called these gunships 'Puff, the Magic Dragon', after Peter, Paul and Mary's song (which title had nothing to do with airplanes!)
