The 'Chicago' was one of two U.S. Army Air Service airplanes to complete the first round-the-world flight in 1924. Starting from Seattle, the westwards flight took 175 days to accomplish. 'Chicago' was flown by Lt. Lowell Smith and Lt. Leslie Arnold.
