Pardee Dam strip.My dad landed here in 1961 on a fishing trip in the near by reservior.A wheel pant came off on landing due to improper installation-by me.Dam is 10 miles from Jackson,Ca.and is not in picture.That is only a small pond. View is north.

 - Panamint dry lake was once well used for all kinds of recreation.The pole behind 246 was a nice windsock.That and other things (stakes & rocks)indicated large airplane use at one time.After years of inquiry,I failed to learn anything more. - by S B J

 - Pottageville, Ontario Canada. The narrow gravel strip is what is left over after an attempt to have an airport. The water ditch was dug to allow float-equiped aircraft to land there. The locals got together and forced the closure. - by PeterPasieka
