- N39932 at Sky Sailing ( renamed Sky Soaring at the end ) just befor the airport closed.Only limited glider activity at this time as most glider pilots found a new home.I was the only power plane there besides the towplanes. - by S B J

- Sky Sailing Fremont,Ca. after closure.Was the last non tower airport in the immediate SF Bay Area.The parallel strip was WWII Heath Field later Baylands Raceway,a very busy drag strip which closed just befor SS did. - by S B J
