Aircraft N88NB Data

This aircraft (the first BAC 1-11 certified) was scrapped in 1989.. I flew this plane for the last two owners; both Continental Broadcasting when Pat Robertson used it as his presidential campaign plane in 1987 and 1988 and for its last owner Calcutta Aircraft Leasing. It was parted out while still airworthy as part of an illegal scheme to siphon money away from its owner. The FBI eventually intervened but too late for 005. The aircraft also at one time was owned by Kenny Rogers. I understand it was corporate from day one and never served in any airline. When scrapped it had belly tanks which allowed for 30000 pounds of fuel and executive seating for 25. Sadly she is now beercans.
