5909, 1942 Vought OS2U-3 Kingfisher, c/n 2400, This Kingfisher was a veteran of the Pacific War, having served aboard USS Indiana (BB-58) and from New Caledonia. Lt. j.g. Rollin M. Batten, Jr. flying this Kingfisher was awarded a Navy Cross for rescuing two airmen shot down near Guam on July 4, 1944.
