The first of two YC-15s manufactured, she made her maiden flight on August 28, 1975. Registered as N15YC in April 1997, the plane was moved to Edwards AFB in April 2008 and is displayed near the west gate in the Century Circle.

The registration on the plane is NX529B. After taking pictures at dozens of airports, KLEX has the best place to get a great angle. Unfortunately, it's a little slower than KMIA or KLAX.
