@ Shoshone Airport - Some of my many stops at L61.In the 70s,arrivals were always greeted by a local resident.While not a pilot,he liked talking about airplanes.Missed him when it stopped in the 80s.Nice stop for lunch,gas,ice etc. - by S B J

@ UNKNOWN - If you were in the USAF in the 60s, you would have seen many of these,a Ford airplane tug. This is a 1964 edition. Some airman taped the steering wheel in red,white and blue (now green) tape. - by S B J

@ Bryant Field Airport - 59X at Bridgeport,Ca offloading its own ground transportation.The little Honda allowed me to visit Bodie State Historic Park (a must see) 12 miles away, but at over 8K feet.Notice windsock which was a direct crosswind this day. - by S B J

@ NONE - Panamint dry lake was once well used for all kinds of recreation.The pole behind 246 was a nice windsock.That and other things (stakes & rocks)indicated large airplane use at one time.After years of inquiry,I failed to learn anything more. - by S B J
